The Earth has experienced its hottest October ever recorded, putting 2023 on track to be the hottest year on record. The difference compared to 2015 and 2019 is only 1.5 degrees hotter but is considered to be a significant margin due to its overall impact.

This Month’s Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse!

On October 14th, 2023, a nearly complete annular solar eclipse was viewable across North, Central, and South America. Lucky viewers in nine states were treated to an incredible “ring of fire” when the moon covered everything but the sun’s blazing outline!
